The Restaurant at Elk River

This unique dining experience is located on Hwy 219 in the hamlet of Slatyfork, 4.5 miles south of Snowshoe Mountain resort. Our menu is designed by owners Gil & Mary Willis. Mary is proud to prepare the finest foods available for your stay in Highlands region. The menu is mix of meats, fresh fish, veal, and poultry with a health oriented focus. Organically grown vegetables are used when in season, locally grown on nearby farms. We are known nationally for our farm raised West Virginia rainbow trout which we prepare with local herbs, bake to perfection and filet table side for your dining pleasure. Our wood fireplace and spacious outdoor decks will entice you to relax. We maintain a full, varied wine list and fully licensed pub for matching up great food and drink. The Restaurant at Elk River is open only for dinner Thursday-Sunday evenings 5-9pm reservation are requested. The Inn & Restaurant can also provide a great setting for a wedding, family reunion or special get together.
